MOI are looking for a Junior Copywriter looking to step up to a Midweight Copywriter who can help us rattle a few cages in the B2B world and turn the heads of those for whom marketing has simply joined the noise. We are looking for a copywriter who has solid B2B marketing experience (agency-based preferably) writing engaging copy for a wide range of IT/Tech clients. They need to be able to think creatively, whilst equally competent and comfortable in producing long-copy communications across a wide range of digital, social and offline media, including video, eDMs, websites, blogs, online adverts, newsletters, event invitations, white papers, brochures and research papers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with creatives to develop ideas for client campaigns that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute copy that align with the campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Write persuasive, clear, and concise copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including but not limited to advertisements, social media campaigns, website content, email campaigns, blog posts, whitepapers, infographics and more.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain consistency in brand messaging, tone, and style across all channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, including art directors, content strategists, and digital specialists, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all channels.
  • Understand target audience demographics, market trends, and competitors to develop effective marketing messages and positioning.
  • Optimize copy for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to digital platforms.
  • Take ownership of multiple projects to deliver copy within agreed deadlines.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to grammatical and brand guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the effectiveness of marketing copy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Advertising, Communications, English, or similar
  • Proven experience of at least 3 as a Junior Copywriter or similar role, preferably in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of marketing copy samples across different mediums and industries.
  • Understanding and interest in B2B technology products and solutions, typically covering hardware, software, data networking, data management, security, CRM, collaboration and cloud applications
  • Strong command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and target audience segmentation.
  • Proficiency in crafting copy that drives engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for optimizing content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and able to adapt to changing priorities.
