We have an immediate need for a fabulous, US-based free-range ABM Strategist/Planner to become an extension of our team at MOI in the US. We have landed a whale in the B2B tech space and would like someone who can be somewhat dedicated to the account, especially in the first few months, to help us take a client from the proverbial zero to hero on the ABM front.

The ask is to support from a strategy and planning perspective, mapping quick wins to start showing traction while building out a complete GTM strategy that has ABM at the heart of all things marketing. It’s a dream space for anyone who believes ABM should be the marketing strategy, not just a part of it.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a strategic planner in a B2B agency (or client-side if you have a healthy respect for the agency experience)
  • ABM experience in 1:1, 1:Few and 1:Many
  • Knowledge on how B2B businesses operate, the markets in which they exist, and how they generate revenue
  • Experience working with global clients, ideally in the communications technology space
  • Ability to simplify the complex, whether its data or messaging or communicating the comms plan
  • Ability to draw out insights from research and interviews to inform our approach
  • Confidence leading a room, whether workshopping or presenting – able to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our client’s business, industries and customers
  • Using primary and secondary research sources, distil insights from what the data is telling us about the market and customers
  • Planning effective ABM marketing strategies including account prioritisation, audience targeting, joint value propositions with partners, messaging frameworks and comms plans for a long-term tiered approach to ABM
  • Developing inspiring, insight-led creative and/or content briefs
  • Working side-by-side with our Account, Subject Matter Expert and Creative Strategy + Creative, Digital and Media teams to ensure that our campaigns and content align with the strategic imperatives
  • Optimising campaigns, finding new methods to turn heads and achieve growth for this global account

Areas of Focus:

  • The client is in the communications technology space and will be partnering with MOI to bring effective ABM thinking into everything they do
  • There is huge potential for this role to be part of creating a new global model and a three year plan designed ultimately to make them best-in-class in ABM
  • The client wants to upskill, learn and develop their ABM capabilities – so you will be educating and nurturing different constituents on this journey to best-in-class
  • The client will need a holistic solution spanning creative, campaigns, media, data, technology and innovation so you will need to flex between the different components and be part of the solution for connecting it all together

This is a 3 month contract to start with the potential to extend.
